A fresh-baked sourdough bread with my sourdough starter in the background. I used Cook’s Illustrated’s No Knead 2.0 recipe, and substituted in a cup of my starter, and some of my homebrewed Extra Special Bitter, straight from the fermenter! 18+ hours to rise, 15 seconds to knead, 425′ in our Dutch Oven, and it came out perfect. Crumb, texture, tang, taste, aroma, it’s got it all!
