Real Estate Shoot for Keller Williams Agent Rick Myers- 2620 S. Federal Blvd. Unit H, Denver, CO 031112

This was a quick shoot for Keller Williams Agent Rick Myers over the weekend. What a cool little place! I had no idea how such a classy little layout, with a garage, even, could be tucked in the neighborhood just down the street from Lincoln High School and my favorite pho place, Pho 95. I hope this is a quick sale!

Denver Botanic Gardens Portrait and Macro Session 111311

I visited the Denver Botanic Gardens in late Fall/early Winter for a Portrait and Macro Photography session. I can’t wait to take a client there for an official portrait session, with the grounds in bloom. Even in November, the gardens were filled with so many stunning little surprises, and of course the greenhouses were such a great backdrop for a shoot like this. Lisa Hannigan and Jason Mraz at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver 092708

I’m revisiting this set now, because I am so excited about Lisa’s new material, and the possibility of a US tour. I had left the shots unprocessed this long because the venue and billing that night did such a disservice to Lisa. This was my first time seeing Lisa Hannigan, and she opened for Jason Mraz. This was four months… Make sure to click through “more” below to see all the shots. What can I

My Photography, Published in the Colorado Rural Electric Association’s Monthly Magazine- Colorado Country Life

I was so honored to be asked to contribute my work for an article in the Draft Horse Journal last year, and now in the Colorado Rural Electric Association’s January 2012 Colorado Country Life magazine. These are just scans of the print copy of that article, which are just so detailed and beautiful, compared to the less-complete online version. I am so proud to have the cover shot and several pictures in the article, in

Matt Darey at Beta in Denver 020412 with DJ Dragon and Tommy Michael

What an unbelievable show. Blown away by Tommy’s groove, amazed once again by Dragon’s set, and then to see the best there is, Matt Darey, at work? Just awesome. Once again, Beta could not have been nicer or more accommodating to me. Plenty of access, shooting from the go-go boxes, and one hell of a club. Thanks to Tommy and Catherine for making it happen. What a great night! What can I shoot for you?

Andrew’s Senior Pictures, Catherine’s Portraits, and the Peterson Family Portrait Session 080711

One of my best shoots, ever! Great subjects, and keep an eye out for some amazing nature images from this shoot, next. Clear Creek and that bridge were so beautiful in the golden morning light at sunrise. There were a couple of amazing surprises along the trail, as well. Thanks, LeeAndra, for the help as my makeup, hair and lighting assistant! What can I shoot for you? (Make sure to click through “more” below to

Justice League of Street Food party in Denver’s Taxi neighborhood 081311

Another great night with the Justice League of Street Food! Denver’s best food, served up in a vacant lot in a trendy neighborhood. Amazing exotics like beef tongue tacos and liquid nitrogen treats, to gourmet twists on old favorites- maple-bacon cupcakes, anyone? Tonight had it all, with a live dj, a hip crowd, a beautiful sunset over an energized scene, and the fuel to keep the party going late into the night. Count me in

KIA Cpl. Brandon Kirton, Denver, CO 060311, A Patriot Guard Mission

*As an update to this this post, I have now included all of the pictures from that day, including shots that show identifiable faces of the Fallen’s family, as well views of the casket. I have never made such shots publicly viewable before, in consideration of the families’ privacy, but Brittney said that she thinks it’s important that these shots are seen.* This is the first full Patriot Guard mission that I have posted on
