I used my camera’s intervalometer and bulb shutter to catch an intense lightning storm in Lakewood, Colorado 071211, from my back porch. The wind was a bit much, so I kept a hold of the tripod and had to keep the lens wiped off, but I think I caught some intense energy that from that evening.
What can I shoot for you?
My favorite shot from the evening! I love these colors, and the strike came out so sharp, with all it's branches and fingers!
You can see, and I could hear this arc on the power pole transformer a yard away from me. At this point, I was a bit nervous.
